Window blinds work in a number of different ways, the most common being by cord, wand or chain operating mechanism.

Blind cord: For blinds featuring a blind cord, you pull the strings attached to the bottom of the window dressing. Pulling the blind cord raises the blinds and release the cord lowers the blinds.

Blind wand: If your blinds have a wand, you either rotate or pull the wand. Rotate the blind wand to adjust the angle of your blinds and pull the wand to gather the blinds to one side.

Blind chain: If your blinds have a looped chain, simply pull the blind chain up or down to raise or lower the blinds.
